Greetings! Welcome to the website of the Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. It is my honor to serve as the 37th Chapter President, representing over 350 chapter members! We are proud to be part of Columbus and its surrounding communities.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization of college-educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community.

The sorority was founded on Christian principles, carries out the mission to provide unique chapter programs that support the organization’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust. The Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter is known for our signature youth programs such as the Shirley Chisholm Girls in Government Conference, the Dr. Alexa Canady Conference for Future Doctors, Dentists and Nurses, Delta GEMS (Growing & Empowering Myself Successfully), and EMBODI (Empowering Males to Building Opportunities for Developing Independence).  The chapter is actively engaged in the community by advocating for social justice issues, enhancing the economic development of the black community, supporting international awareness initiatives, and promoting healthy lifestyles for physical and mental health.

Our 2021-2023 biennial chapter theme is “Celebrate Sisterhood, Elevate Community,” which expresses the embodiment of who we are as an organization focused on sisterhood, scholarship and service. If you are a soror and looking to join our amazing chapter, we would love to have you! Please complete the Visiting Soror Verification Form to begin the verification process to attend a chapter meeting. Our chapter meetings are on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. We would love to celebrate, fellowship, and serve with you!
Please visit our website often to learn about upcoming programs and events.
