Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

President's Message

On behalf of the 200+ members of the Columbus (OH) Alumnae Chapter (CAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., I welcome you to the chapter’s official website.

The chapter’s purpose is to work together with a collective voice to impact the community we serve. As part of an international sisterhood, the chapter is charged to provide programs which benefit the public through the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust. Our Christian principles are the foundation for interaction both within the chapter and the community.

The website is designed to provide valuable information about the leadership and programs of the Columbus Alumnae Chapter as well as a history of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. As you explore the website, you will learn that we are a “Sisterhood: Committed to Public Service.”

If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., please join us for sorority meetings. The meetings are held the second Thursday of each month (September through June) from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Mifflin Middle School.  I invite you to join us in Remembering Our Purpose:  Sisterhood, Scholarship & Service.

If you are a member of the Columbus community and would like to get more information about Delta’s national programs, please visit our national website at or contact the chapter at the email and mailing addresses shown below for more information on local programming.

Thank you,

Deborah R. Pickens, President
