The goal of our Political Awareness & Involvement Program is to equip the community with the knowledge and skills necessary for meaningful civic participation. Through education, advocacy, and action, we inspire engagement on critical social issues that affect our communities at the local, national, and global levels.
Social Action Priorities
Voter registration and education; protecting voting rights and combating voter suppression; access to quality, affordable health care; financial literacy and economic empowerment; census and redistricting advocacy; support for HBCUs and public education; advancing gender equality and pay equity; expanding political participation and leadership; and addressing racial profiling and public safety reform.
